Four input audio and video switching capability
Two simultaneous outputs on BNC and 15-pin HD connectors — Both outputs on five BNC connectors and a 15-pin HD connector are active simultaneously, and can directly drive two separate displays.
Scales composite video, S-video, and component video signals
Accepts RGB signals at resolutions up to 1024x768 and upscales to desired resolution - no downscaling — The IN1404 accepts RGBHV/RGBS/RGsB signals at resolutions of 640x480, 800x600, or 1024x768, and scan rates of 15 kHz to 60 kHz.
48 output rates up to 1365x1024 — Multiple output resolutions allow the IN1404 to match the optimal or native resolution of virtually any display.
Input memory presets for up to 128 different sources
Digital freeze frame — Useful for high quality still images in applications that require close examination of a specific video frame, the freeze frame function can be enabled or disabled via front panel or RS-232 control.
Video blank — Once engaged, the output signal goes to black but the sync signals continue, ensuring that the data display device retains sync lock. When the blank button is pressed again, the switcher returns to the last selected input.
3:2 pulldown detection — Advanced film mode processing techniques help maximize image detail and sharpness for NTSC or PAL sources that originated from film.
Aspect ratio conversion — Proper image geometry can be achieved by using the aspect ratio feature of the IN1404. The scaler is able to horizontally and vertically resize the video image to match a specified aspect ratio, filling the display, and improving the overall perception of the displayed image.

Volume control and mute — Can be controlled via the front panel or RS-232. Unique volume levels can be saved for each input and automatically recalled each time an input is selected.
Quad standard decoder — The IN1404 employs an advanced three-line adaptive comb filter and a high quality video decoder to provide accurate video decoding for composite video and S-video signals in NTSC 3.58, NTSC 4.43, PAL, and SECAM video for worldwide compatibility.
High quality video scaling technology — Utilizing sophisticated video deinterlacing, scaling, and filtering techniques, the IN1404 offers output signals with optimum image detail.
Blue screen for set-up and testing — Always available, even when the input signal is missing, the blue screen feature provides a full screen blue image for set-up and testing purposes, and is ideal for setting up the output resolution, refresh rate, and position settings, and to verify connection to the output display device.
RS-232 control port — Using serial commands, the IN1404 can be integrated into third-party control systems.

Internal international power supply — The 100-240VAC, 50/60 Hz, autoswitchable internal power supply provides worldwide power compatibility.
