Extron IPL T PC1 交流电源和设备控制器具有一个 AC 电源插座、双向 RS-232、红外输出和一路触点闭合输入。当与 IP Link 控制处理器配对时，该电源控制器就能配合 TouchLink 使用。IPL T PC1 将以太网技术集成到系统中，实现了灵活的、基于网络的集中式电源和设备管理。
在使用 Edison 插座时，IPL T PC1 可提供高达 12A 的 120VAC 电源。它可用于为一个“被冻结”的视音频设备循环供电，或者配置为在设定时间开启或关闭设备，从而保证安全并节省能源。如希望获得实时通知，该控制器可以通过编程设置，在执行每项事件时发出一封相应的电子邮件。
